Samsung S9 and A9 Mobile Phone Fast Charging Principle

Samsung A9 (including all other Samsung A-series mobile phones) only supports Samsung's own AFC fast charging protocol. At present, only IP5328P can support Samsung AFC fast charging in the industry, so mobile power supply can only use IP5328P IC to achieve fast charging for A9 mobile phones.

Samsung S9 supports QC2.0 and Samsung's own AFC Fast Charging Protocol. The request strategy of Samsung S9 Fast Charging is as follows:

1) Priority requests for AFC fast charging. If the mobile power supply has AFC fast charging protocol, it can support S9 fast charging perfectly

2)  If there is no AFC fast charging protocol for mobile power supply, S9 will see if the mobile power supply supports Huawei FCP fast charging (Samsung specifically excludes Huawei FCP fast charging protocol in order to compete with Huawei). If there is Huawei FCP fast charging, S9 mobile phones will not be allowed to fast charging

3)If there is no AFC fast charging protocol or Huawei FCP fast charging protocol for mobile power supply, but there is QC2.0 fast charging protocol, S9 will request QC2.0 fast charging.

   At present, some ICs on the market do not support AFC, so they need to secretly shut down Huawei FCP and rely on QC2.0 to fill S9 fast, so Huawei mobile phones do not support fast charging, is it embarrassing?

It can be seen that if the mobile power supply is to support Samsung Mobile Phone and Huawei Mobile Phone Fast Charging perfectly, it must have AFC protocol and FCP Fast Charging. At present, only IP5328P can do it in the industry.
